Job Description
Part Time Dental Assistant Smiles 4 Kids Jerome is seeking a Part Time Dental Assistant to be a part of our growing team. We are a pediatric dental practice and the candidate must love working with children. We are looking for an outgoing, friendly and enthusiastic individual. If you have a positive attitude, excel at providing exceptional customer service, and would love to work in a fun and busy atmosphere, we would love to meet you. Our dental assistants have a passion for dentistry and enjoy learning and growing as a professional. We take pride in our dental care and our focus is Grow. Smile. Give.
Duties, Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Compassionately performs dental hygiene procedures while ensuring comfort of the patient.
- Educates on the importance of dental hygiene, assists dentist and participates with communicating dental treatment options.
- Must possess verbal and written communication skills and be well educated in dentistry and dental hygiene.
- Ability to connect with patients and build new relationships.
- Attend and participate in monthly staff meetings, other meetings as requested and in-service trainings.
- Demonstrates strong leadership skills and promotes teamwork.
- Follows all clinical protocols and procedures as outlined in the Provider Handbook.
- Performs other duties as requested.
