The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our dental team. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and patient comfort. Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols. Take X-rays as directed by the dentist, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow within the office. Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Utilize Dentrix software for patient management and record keeping. Stay updated on medical terminology, dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical coding. Requirements Familiarity with Cerec. Previous experience as a Dental Assistant. Knowledge of general dentistry practices and procedures. Familiarity with X-Ray technology and safety protocols. Strong understanding of medical documentation processes. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work effectively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism. Commitment to upholding patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Certification in dental assisting is a plus but not required.
