Responsibilities:

• Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and orthodontic procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for orthodontic procedures
• Take dental x-rays as instructed by the orthodontist
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Perform lab duties such as pouring and trimming models, fabricating retainers, and adjusting appliances
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and sterilization techniques
• Provide support in scheduling patient appointments and managing patient flow

Skills:

• Knowledge of medical terminology and dental anatomy
• Dental experience preferred
• Ability to maintain strict infection control standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
