Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dental office. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of dental procedures and be comfortable working with patients of all ages. Experience is preferred but we will train the right candidate. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office, providing exceptional patient care, and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. Pay will be based on certifications, experience and skills. Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, including Cerec, Crown and Bridge, Endodontics, Invisalign and Pediatric dentistry. Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations by ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain accurate medical records and update patient information in Eaglesoft or similar systems. Manage patient flow by greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and handling inquiries at the front desk as a Dental receptionist. Monitor and assist with patient comfort during procedures. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness of the clinical environment according to infection control protocols. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient clinic operations. Qualifications Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but will train the right candidate. Proficient in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft for managing patient records. Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and instruments is essential. Ability to provide basic patient care support. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Certification in Dental Assisting or relevant qualifications is preferred but not mandatory.
