Dental Assistant

Overview We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and motivated Part-Time Dental Assistant to join our friendly and professional team. Hours we are looking for are some Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. 2 Saturdays a Month. Responsibilities Assist dentists chairside during a variety of dental procedures. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control standards are maintained at all times. Take digital dental X-rays. Manage patient medical records and documentation within Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems such as Dentrix Ascend. Ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Monitor patient comfort throughout procedures. Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment by adhering to infection control protocols and sterilization procedures in accordance with OSHA standards. Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred. Would like 2 years of Dental Assisting. Proficiency with dental terminology. Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix Ascend if possible. Knowledge of infection control procedures, aseptic techniques, anatomy relevant to dentistry, and the use of dental radiography equipment including X-ray machines. Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance standards ensures confidentiality of patient information at all times. $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
