• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Set up and prepare dental instruments and materials
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
• Prepare and maintain dental supplies and equipment inventory
• Perform general office tasks, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records ```Qualifications```
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology, dental procedures, and dental anatomy
• Proficiency in Dentrix, Epic, or other dental software systems
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols
• Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
• CAD/CAM experience is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting the dentist in providing quality dental care to our patients.
