Job Description

Overview Join our dental team as a Dental Assistant, where your enthusiasm and expertise will directly contribute to providing exceptional patient care in both our Elburn and Geneva IL offices . In this vital role, you will support dentists during procedures, manage patient comfort, and ensure the smooth operation of our dental practice. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for patients of all ages, especially in pediatric dentistry settings. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, rewarding healthcare environment. Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready for patient appointments. Take dental radiographs (X-ray images), ensuring proper technique and patient safety in compliance with infection control standards. Utilize advanced dental technology such as 3D scanners and medical imaging tools to assist with diagnosis and treatment planning. Monitor vital signs when necessary and assist with medical documentation related to patient health status. Skills Proficiency in dental assisting techniques, including chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry practices. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry. Experience working with Eaglesoft is preferred. Familiarity with infection control procedures and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Ability to operate dental X-ray equipment safely while adhering to radiation safety standards. $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
