  • We are looking for a full-time qualified Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our premier dental practice in Elgin, IL.
The right applicant will have experience preparing pediatric dentistry patients, ensuring that they are comfortable and offering another set of hands for procedures. Assistants must help Dentists to clearly see problems and changes within a patient's mouth. This often requires taking x-rays of the bone structure of a patient's jaw, as well as taking photographs of the teeth.
Office location:
All Family Dental and Braces 2050 Larkin Ave. Elgin, IL 60123
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 9:30am-6pm, 2 Saturdays a month 7:30am-2pm. Responsibilities Help Dentists prepare for procedures by having the necessary tools sterilized and in place Help keep a patient's mouth clean and dry during procedures and hand Dentists the necessary tools at the appropriate time Patient education; explain procedures and discuss treatment progress and plans This position will include all aspects of clinical dental care Requirements Previous dental chairside assisting is required Coronal Polish certification required Nitrous certification is a plus Full-time Candidate Characteristics Resonate with
