We are looking for someone long-term who values consistency, teamwork, and takes pride in their work. Responsibilities Assist the doctor during procedures (chairside assisting) Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms Take digital X-rays Prepare nightguards and lab materials as needed Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment Maintain proper infection control protocols Charting and assisting with clinical notes as needed Perform coronal polishing and flossing (must be certified or willing to obtain) Complete daily and weekly duties to maintain a clean, organized clinical environment, including: Taking out trash Sweeping and mopping Disinfecting treatment room surfaces Maintaining suction lines and equipment Assisting with overall office upkeep A structured task schedule will be provided. Qualifications Dental experience preferred X-ray certification preferred Coronal polishing certification required (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication and organizational skills Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Must be comfortable working directly with patients while maintaining a respectful and professional atmosphere
Schedule Monday:
10:00 AM•5:30
PM Tuesday:
8:00 AM•3:00
PM Wednesday:
8:30 AM•3:30
PM Thursday:
9:00 AM•4:30 PM Saturdays (as needed): 8:00 AM•1:00 PM ~1 per month during summer ~2 per month during the rest of the year Additional Saturdays may be scheduled occasionally with advance notice for emergency patients Candidates must be willing to arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time to ensure the office is fully prepared for patients. This position follows the daily patient schedule. Hours may vary slightly based on patient needs. Opportunities for extra hours if requested. Occasionally, emergency patients may extend hours. This is not frequent, but flexibility is required.
