Job Description

Dental Assistant/Receptionist DentalAssistant / Receptionist needed for a fast pace Dental Clinic . Willing to train . preferred. Certified in Dental polishing a plus. Summary As a Dental Receptionist/Dental Assistant, you will support both patient care and practice operations, reporting to the office manager or lead clinician. You will blend chairside assisting with front-desk responsibilities to ensure smooth patient flow, accurate medical/dental records, and a positive patient experience. Your core skills in dental terminology, aseptic technique, and general dentistry will drive efficient chairside support, while premium skills in EMR systems, HIPAA compliance, and reception duties will optimize scheduling, billing, and communication. This role combines clinical assistance with exceptional patient service to uphold high standards of care. Responsibilities Greet patients, schedule appointments, and manage front desk duties with professionalism as a Dental Receptionist/Dental Assistant. Prepare operatory, assist during procedures, and maintain aseptic technique and patient comfort. Perform chairside assisting, coronal polishing, and basic dental tasks while applying relevant terminology and protocols. Operate and manage dental software (EMR systems, Dentrix/Eaglesoft) to document visits, radiographs, and treatment plans. Adhere to HIPAA and medical/dental privacy standards; ensure accurate documentation and records maintenance. Qualifications Bilingual preferred; excellent communication with patients and staff Experience in a dental clinic as a receptionist and/or chairside assistant a plus. Willing to train . Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
