Position Overview We are seeking a clinical assistant with STRONG orthodontic experience who is also interested in learning and supporting pediatric dental procedures. This is an ideal role for someone who: Loves orthodontics but wants to expand into pediatric dentistry Enjoys working with both kids and teens Thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment Takes pride in delivering an exceptional patient experience
Responsibilities Orthodontic Assisting:
Chairside assisting for braces and clear aligner patients Wire changes, bracket placement support, and adjustments Digital scanning (iTero or similar preferred) Patient education and instructions Pediatric Dental Assisting (Training Available): Assist with exams, cleanings, sealants, fillings, and minor procedures Help create a fun, positive experience for young patients Support behavior guidance and patient comfort
General:
Maintain sterilization and infection control standards Prepare and break down operatories Work collaboratively with doctors and team members Deliver an outstanding, friendly patient experience Schedule & Location Primary location: Hinsdale, IL Occasional flexibility: Lombard, IL location (as needed) Schedule will be discussed based on availability and practice needs Hinsdale (main location)
Hours:
Monday 8-5pm Tuesday 8-5pm Wednesday 8-5pm Thursday 10-7pm Friday 8-12pm (rotational) Saturday/Sunday CLOSED Compensation $18
  • 25+ per hour, depending on experience Higher starting rates available for experienced orthodontic assistants
Qualifications Required:
