Pediatric Dentistry is looking to add an assistant to our growing team who has a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and loves working with kids ! We are a modern, single location, doctor-owned dental practice in La Grange, IL focused on providing children and their families the highest quality of care in a fun environment. The ideal candidate will have a coronal polishing certificate and at least 1 year of pediatric dental assisting experience but we are willing to provide training for someone with little to no experience who is a great fit for our office. Our office values honesty and great team players ! We keep our cell phones in our back breakroom, so please do not apply if this will be an issue. Pay is flexible and based on experience as well as well as value and shown commitment to the practice. Full time is available but also open to part time candidates available for full day shifts (but be able to work from open to close). Must be available one Saturday a month from 8-1pm only cleanings and exams (we do not work Saturdays in June/July) A huddle is done 30min prior to our start time. Please see our current office hours below: M/Thr/Fri 9am-5pm, Tues 8am-4pm, Wed 10am-6pm, Saturday 8am-1pm Our work environment includes: Growth opportunities for those interested in additional office roles/responsibilities and showing commitment to helping to build our practice Modern office setting Provided training and scrubs Dental benefits Paid time off Health Insurance - employer pays 50% of premium Duties include: Friendly engagement with patients and parents Assist with various pediatric dental procedures Taking dental radiographs Maintaining dental equipment and materials Maintaining operatories and sterilization Help manage inventory/ordering Assisting other staff as needed
