In this vital role, you will support dentists during procedures, ensure the smooth operation of the clinic, and deliver exceptional patient care. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to a welcoming environment focused on health, comfort, and confidence. Duties Assist dentists during various procedures including restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, and implant dentistry with precision and care. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly using infection control protocols. Take dental X-rays and 3D scans while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Manage patient records efficiently using Dentrix or Eaglesoft, and treatment plans. Provide chairside assistance by handing instruments, suctioning, and supporting patients through procedures with empathy and professionalism. Educate patients about dental procedures, post-treatment care, and oral hygiene practices. Requirements Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy. Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including X-ray procedures, infection control practices. Familiarity with Dentrix or Eaglesoft. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times.. Strong understanding of dentistry. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members including dental receptionists and other healthcare professionals.
