  • Part-time, Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental practice.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting the dental team in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment for use. Take medical imaging, including X-rays and 3D scans, while adhering to safety protocols. Manage patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide education to patients regarding oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Support the dental team with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the treatment area and sterilization of instruments. Assist in managing appointments and patient flow within the practice. Skills Proficiency in medical imaging techniques, including X-ray and 3D scanning. Strong knowledge of medical records management systems. Experience in assisting with various dental procedures, particularly in Prosthodontics and Pediatrics. Familiarity with four-handed dentistry practices to optimize chairside assistance. Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality. Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and team members. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
