Job Description
Dental Assistant We are looking for a motivated, teamwork oriented, and professional Dental Assistant to join our dental office. You can be a part of successful and growing dental office.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up operatory rooms for dental procedures
- Restocking rooms
- Organizing and laying out instruments for dentist's use
- Handing instruments and other materials to dentists during procedures
- Assisting during all dental procedures (Extractions, Implant placements, Crowns, and Root Canals)
- Making patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
- Sterilizes and disinfects instruments and equipment.
- Prepares treatment rooms, instruments and tray setups for dental procedures.
- Take diagnostic x-rays.
- Assists the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures.
- Records treatment information in patient records.
- Assists with other duties as needed Qualifications
- Coronal Polishing and Sealants Certification -Preferred
- Must be good at multitasking, problem solving, and a cooperative team player
- Possess excellent communication and organization skills
- Be responsible and dependable
