Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and empathetic Dental Assistant to join our busy dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a passion for dentistry, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Pay commensurate with experience. Office hours are 8-5 monday through thursday, and work just 6 saturdays per year. Duties Assist dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all supplies are stocked. Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) as required. Record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately Manage patient flow. Assist with all dental procedures, ensuring a comfortable experience for patients. Skills Proficiency in dental assisting techniques. Familiarity with dental software systems. Experience with medical imaging technologies. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to take vital signs accurately and respond to patient needs promptly. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. A compassionate approach to the dental patient.
