In this role, you will be the backbone of our dental practice, providing exceptional chairside assistance and ensuring a smooth patient experience. Your bilingual skills will help bridge communication gaps, making dental care accessible and comfortable for diverse patient populations. Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics with precision and efficiency Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and maintaining aseptic techniques to ensure infection control standards are met Take and develop high-quality X-ray images while adhering to HIPAA regulations and safety protocols Manage patient flow by greeting patients warmly, updating medical records accurately in Open dental software. Perform vital signs measurement and medical documentation to support comprehensive patient care Support dental procedures Maintain detailed medical records, ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, and assist with medical coding for accurate billing processes Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a busy dental clinic environment with familiarity in general dentistry, pediatrics, prosthodontics, and endodontics Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is essential for effective communication with diverse patients Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques Proficiency in EMR systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Epic and Open dental or similar platforms for managing medical records and documentation Skilled in chairside assisting including taking X-rays, medical imaging, vital signs monitoring, and using 3D scanners when applicable Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security at all times Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent patient care standards Join our team where your expertise will make a real difference!
