In this energetic position, you will support dentists during a variety of procedures, ensure the smooth operation of the clinic, and create a welcoming environment for patients of all ages. Your expertise in dental assisting, infection control, and medical documentation will help us maintain the highest standards of quality and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting dedicated to improving oral health. Responsibilities Assist dentists during general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry procedures with chairside support and four-handed dentistry techniques Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments using aseptic techniques and maintaining infection control protocols in accordance with HIPAA regulations Take and develop dental X-rays and 3D scans, ensuring proper positioning and safety measures are followed Manage patient records accurately using Open Dental Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions about dental terminology, and ensuring patient comfort throughout visits Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and assisting the dental receptionist with medical coding and records management Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment while adhering to infection prevention standards and safety guidelines Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a dental clinic setting with knowledge of general dentistry procedures Familiarity with EMR systems Strong understanding of infection control practices, aseptic technique, and anatomy knowledge relevant to dental procedures Ability to operate dental imaging equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners safely and effectively Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical coding for accurate documentation Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with patients of all ages, especially pediatrics Certification in radiography or X-ray technology preferred; CPR certification is a plus Join us in making a difference through compassionate care and technical excellence! Pay:
$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
