Dental Assisting Instructor - Baton Rouge, LA Accelerated Academy Baton Rouge, LA Job Details Part-time $31.25 an hour 3 days ago Qualifications CPR Certification Dental assisting Student record keeping CPR Mid-level Clinical instruction High school diploma or GED Instructor-led training (training delivery method) LMS Dental Assisting Classroom behavior management 4 years Classroom Teaching Full Job Description We are in need of a Dental Assisting Instructor to join the team at our Baton Rouge, LA location hosted at Southern Oaks Family Dental. This includes clinical teaching on some Saturdays during our 3 10 week semesters per year. Are you a Dental Assistant? Do you naturally connect with others? The responsibilities you would be held accountable for are listed below: Prepare to facilitate class by reviewing and understanding the clinic stations. Prepare the dental office for class by setting up clinic stations. Facilitate clinic sessions by executing class checklists and completing each task in its entirety. Record grades, attendance and evaluations in the learning management system. Manage all classroom situations.
Position Qualifications:
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students
  • Positive, fun, and caring attitude
  • HS Diploma, Dental Assistant Certificate, & 4 years of clinical experience as a dental assistant
  • CPR certified
