Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking an EDDA certified Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment, assisting the dentist and supporting the overall operations of the dental office.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring efficient and smooth workflow
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, making sure they are clean and well-stocked with necessary supplies
  • Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring accurate imaging for diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and documenting medical history
  • Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures, passing instruments and materials as needed
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions
  • Maintain accurate patient records
