Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant, where your enthusiasm and expertise will help create a welcoming environment for patients and support the delivery of exceptional dental care. In this vital role, you'll assist dentists during procedures, manage patient records, and ensure the clinic operates smoothly and efficiently. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to positive patient experiences and the overall success of our practice. 2 years experience required. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, ensuring a sterile environment following infection control protocols. Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Take dental X-rays, including 3D scans, ensuring accuracy and patient safety. Manage patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Dentrix, maintaining HIPAA compliance at all times. Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize workflow and patient comfort. Monitor vital signs and assist with medical documentation when necessary for pediatric or medically complex patients. Educate patients on dental terminology, procedures, and post-treatment care to foster understanding and compliance. Skills Proficiency in dental assisting procedures with experience in infection control practices and aseptic techniques. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dental care. Experience with EMR systems like Dentrix for managing medical records and documentation. Skilled in taking X-rays, including intraoral images and advanced imaging such as 3D scans. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices and working with children in a clinical setting. Ability to perform general dentistry tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of patient safety

From $16.00 per hour
