Our mission is to provide high-quality pediatric dental care that is affordable and accessible to all families in our community. Compensation $18-25 per hour Compensation is based on experience, clinical ability, and pediatric dental competency.

Position Requirements Applicants must:

Be EDDA-credentialed Have prior dental assisting experience Be capable of independently running a full clinical column Demonstrate strong chairside assisting skills in a fast-paced pediatric dental office Be comfortable working with children of all ages, including anxious and special healthcare needs patients Have excellent communication and teamwork skills Be dependable, organized, and professional Responsibilities Chairside assisting for pediatric restorative and preventive procedures Coronal polishing, sealants, radiographs, and other expanded duty functions permitted under Louisiana regulations Preparing and turning over treatment rooms efficiently Maintaining accurate clinical documentation Supporting patient flow and helping create a positive patient experience Assisting in behavior guidance and maintaining a calm, child-friendly environment Upholding all infection control and patient safety standards Our Core Values At Pediatric Dental Specialists of Lafayette, we are committed to: Patient Safety Commitment to Excellence Integrity Compassion Selfless Service Our Culture We believe that exceptional patient care begins with an exceptional team.
