Registered Dental Assistant

This is a full-time position with a consistent weekday schedule, offering a great work-life balance with long weekends every week. Candidates must either have prior dental assisting experience or be currently enrolled in a dental assisting program. Responsibilities Assist dentists chairside during a variety of dental procedures involving standard general dentistry. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly with proper infection control protocols Use of digital dental X-rays and Primescan Intraoral Scanner Strict adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Use of Dentrix dental software Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term oral health. Assess patient comfort throughout procedures to ensure safety and reduce anxiety. Support administrative duties as a dental receptionist when needed, including scheduling appointments and managing dental records efficiently. Skills Proficiency with Dentrix (or ability to learn the software) Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and medical imaging procedures. Experience with chairside assisting in general dentistry Ability to operate X-ray machines safely while complying with HIPAA standards for patient confidentiality.
