Seeking Expanded Duty Dental Assistant for Thriving Pediatric Dental Office!

The ideal candidate will be able to effectively communicate with parents, provide encouragement to our pediatric patients, and be a great team player! This position is 3-4 days a week. Office hours are typically Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:15-5:00pm and Thursdays from 7:45-3:00pm. Occasional Tuesdays! This available position is for a for motivated individual looking for a long-term career working at a growing office with a fun, rewarding and collaborative atmosphere with significant opportunities for growth!

Dental Assistant Responsibilities:

• Excellent customer service
• Assist the dentist with dental procedures and behavior management
• Dental cleanings/prophys, impressions, and radiographs
• Sterilization lab duties
• Assist with treatment under sedation or general anesthesia
• Assist with treatment of patients with special health care needs
• Maintain patient records and treatment plans
• Provide dental education to patients and their family members

Certifications Necessary:

• Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (preferred but not necessary)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (Preferred, not required)
