In this role, you will provide essential support in a dental clinic environment, assisting the dentist during procedures and ensuring a positive experience for our pediatric patients. Your expertise in pediatric dentistry and familiarity with dental systems will be crucial in delivering high-quality care. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols. Take medical imaging, including Bitewing and Panoramic X-rays Manage patient records using Open Dental and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. Provide comfort to children during treatments, addressing their concerns and making them feel at ease. Preform prophy cleanings and educate patients and their families on oral hygiene practices. Requirements Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is highly desirable. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and equipment, including X-ray systems. Proficiency in infection control standards within a dental environment. Experience with Open dental or similar dental software systems is a plus. Strong communication skills, particularly in interacting with children and their guardians. $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
