Job Description

Our private oral surgery practice is looking for a reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Oral Surgery Assistant to join our team. Role:
As an Oral Surgery Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the highest quality care and comfort throughout their surgical experience. You'll work closely with our oral surgeon and clinical team to provide skilled chairside assistance and help maintain a smooth, efficient surgical flow.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the surgeon during oral and maxillofacial procedures Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms Monitor and support patients before, during, and after procedures Provide clear pre- and post-operative instructions to patients and caregivers Take digital radiographs as needed Maintain strict sterilization and infection control standards Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-oriented atmosphere
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a surgical or dental assistant preferred (oral surgery experience a plus) Excellent communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude Ability to remain composed and organized in a fast-paced surgical setting Current certifications as required by state (e.g., Radiology, CPR, DA certification) Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills
Compensation:
