We will train and seeking a dedicated individual to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient care and support in a family oriented dental clinic environment. This role involves assisting the dentist during procedures, managing patient records, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the clinic. An understanding of dental terminology and procedures is helpful in this position. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready for use. Take dental X-rays while adhering to safety protocols. Record and maintain accurate patient records. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage inventory of dental supplies, ordering as necessary to maintain stock levels. Implement aseptic techniques to prevent infection and ensure a clean working environment. Support patients with empathy and understanding, creating a welcoming atmosphere for children. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient clinic operations. Qualifications Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but will train. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures is essential. Familiarity with endodontics and other specialized areas of dentistry is a plus. Proficiency in taking X-rays and understanding radiographic techniques. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Understanding of aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment in the clinic. A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with dental practices.
