Job Description
Summary:
As a Dental Assistant, you will be an integral part of our dental team, providing essential support to dentists and ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic. Your core skills in dental assisting, chairside assisting, and knowledge of dental terminology will be vital as you assist in various procedures. You will also uphold HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality. With your understanding of anatomy and aseptic techniques, you will contribute to patient care and comfort. - Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Perform dental charting and record patient information
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Assist with dental lab tasks such as pouring models and trimming impressions
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
- Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- X-ray certification
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Familiarity with dental assisting procedures and techniques
- Ability to record patient information
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health
Pay:
$25.00- $30.
