Traveling Orthodontic Assistant

This is a Traveling Orthodontic Dental Assistant role. This role does require regular travel to other practices in the area. One of the offices is located at 302 Grove St., Braintree, Massachusetts 02184. The other offices are located in South Attleboro, Brockton, Cambridge, Natick, and Wellesley. The successful candidate for this position will help our team by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, updating medical records, scheduling appointments and keeping the office organized. RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet and prepare patients for treatment Chairside assisting Taking intra and extra oral photographs Proper impression techniques for a variety of orthodontic appliances Laboratory work Provide post operative instructions and patient education Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments Maintain strict compliance to infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA Maintain orthodontic supply inventory Perform other related job duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology Massachusetts Dental Assistant License Strong verbal skills Possess required certifications, licensure or registration as required by state Embrace a positive team approach to patient care

$29.00 - $33.00 per hour

Orthodontic dental assistance: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

X-Ray Certification (Required) Massachusetts dental assisting license (Required) Willingness to travel: 75% (Preferred)
