Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to support our dental team in delivering high-quality dental care. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for patient service. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting dentist during various procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. Responsibilities Assist dentist during various dental procedures. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring aseptic technique compliance. Take digital X-rays, ensuring proper safety protocols. Scanning for indirect restorations and appliances. Follow HIPAA regulations. Manage patient records accurately using practice management software Provide patient education on oral health, post-treatment care, and preventive practices. Monitor vital signs and assist with pediatric dentistry procedures when necessary. Maintain infection control standards and ensure all equipment is properly sanitized and maintained. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and greeting patients as a dental receptionist. Skills Proficiency with dental software systems including Eaglesoft, Dentrix, and Epic. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and proper handling of medical records and documentation. Experience with pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and general dentistry procedures. Ability to operate dental imaging equipment such as 3D scanners and X-ray machines safely. Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and infection control protocols. Skilled in chairside assisting techniques, four-handed dentistry, and aseptic procedures Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and educate patients. Pay:
$26.00 - $30.00 per hour
