Dental Assistant OJT (On Job Training)

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and sterile environment. What You'll Do Assist the dentist during exams and procedures, preparing and organizing instruments. Take X-rays safely while ensuring patient comfort. Maintain accurate patient records in Open Dental . Follow infection control and aseptic protocols to keep the office safe and clean. Educate patients, including children, on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Help manage dental supplies and assist with ordering. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and a welcoming environment. Learn about new dental technologies, procedures, and pediatric care techniques. What We're Looking For Eager to learn and grow in a dental career. Compassionate and friendly, especially with children. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to communicate effectively. Comfortable following protocols and working as part of a team. Previous dental experience is a plus, but not required.
