Dental Assistant

Inspired Dental Wellness Dental Assistant Lee, MA Apply We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow in our dental clinic. You will assist dentists during procedures, manage patient records, and provide exceptional care to our patients as we practice whole person dentistry intended to inspire and empower the patient to take their health into their own hands. Strong communication skills are essential for success in this role and customer service experience is a plus! Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Empower and educate patients through oral hygiene coaching and post-operative care instructions.
• Manage appointment scheduling and patient follow-ups using Dentrix Dental Software and Dental Intelligence.
• Support patients by creating a comfortable environment and addressing their specific needs.
• Perform basic lab tasks such as taking impressions when required, and familiarity with an iTero Scanner is a bonus.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dental office. Requirements
• Proficiency in dental terminology and knowledge of anatomy.
• Experience with dental software systems (Dentrix is preferred).
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Previous experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and fellow team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
