Our office strives to ensure that adequate access to dental care is available for patients of all ages, demographics, and dental needs.

Experience Dental Assistant Responsibilities:
Prepare the treatment room for the doctor and the patient Prepare the patient for treatment Set up treatment room with the instruments and materials to be used Passes instruments and supplies to the doctor Uses suction during the procedure, and help keep the patient comfortable Take and pour alginate impressions Help educate patients Help with charting Brings patient in for treatment. Walks patients out to the front desk after treatment. Take blood pressure and pulse when required Sterilize instruments and disinfect the treatment room Restock the room Inform the head assistant when supplies need to be ordered Track lab cases as they are sent out and received back Call dental labs to pick up cases or follow up when a case has not been received Call patients who are late for their appointment Help other staff members, both clinical and administrative, when needed Look ahead in the schedule to be certain lab cases are here on time Take, pour, and separate alginate impressions Clean and maintain the hand pieces and equipment Helps keep the office clean and neat. Key Responsibilities Perform duties in accordance with the applicable state's dental auxiliaries outline of permitted duties. Participate actively in relationship practice by keeping patients focused on optimal treatment while attending to their individual needs. Escort patients to and from the front desk and introduce them to other team members as appropriate. Communicate with front and back-office teams to ensure the clinician's schedule runs smoothly and efficiently. Maintain a clean and welcoming environment. Perform disinfection and sterilization practices in accordance with OSHA and CDC regulations and guidelines for instruments, equipment, and treatment areas. Prepare patients for treatment and assist the clinician during procedures. Complete radiographs and intraoral photographs as directed by the clinician. Prepare tray setups for procedures and maintain adequate supply levels in each operatory. Keep patients' mouths dry and clear using suction or other devices. Instruct patients on postoperative care and general oral hygiene as directed. Record patient charting and clinician notes accurately in the digital chart. Support patient care by presenting treatment records, consents, and health histories to the clinician before treatment. Ensure equipment is maintained according to manufacturer guidelines. Work closely with the Clinical Coordinator to maintain adequate clinical supplies. Utilize technology effectively and provide guidance to others as needed. Participate in morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and other required meetings. Model company culture, values, standards, and best practices based on the Pillars of Passion. Demonstrate stewardship of the Passion Dental Brand in all decisions. Implement the Relationship Practice Experience process to foster Patients for Life. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor; communicate respectfully with all colleagues. Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable state, federal, and regulatory requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. Completion of state-mandated training, certification, licensure, or registration. Specialty dental assistants must possess a valid driver's license and automobile insurance (or reliable alternate transportation) and be able to travel to multiple offices as required. Preferred Qualifications One-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
