The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the orthodontist with patient exams, taking x-rays, sterilizing instruments, and providing patient education on proper oral hygiene. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of orthodontic procedures and a commitment to providing the highest quality of care to our patients. Spanish speaking preferred. 1 year of orthodontic dental assisting experience preferred. Dental license required. This is a part-time or full-time position offering 3-4 days a week of employment•8am-530
PM Responsibilities:
Assist the orthodontist in patient care. Prepare and sterilize instruments and materials for use in the office. Provide patient education on orthodontic treatment and home care. Take impressions, x-rays, and photographs of patients' teeth. Maintain patient records and charts. Assist with laboratory procedures. Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working order.
