We are in need of an orthodontic treatment coordinator/assistant to join our team at New England Orthodontic Specialists. We are a growing, high-tech, fun orthodontic practice that provides excellent service to the best patients in the North Shore area and would like to expand our team with an orthodontic treatment coordinator/assistant who is driven to deliver excellent patient care with an upbeat and friendly attitude. The Treatment Coordinator is responsible for communication with (and a smooth transition of) new patients into the practice and to present treatment with the orthodontists. The TC will be responsible for on-going communication with parents/patients before, during, and after treatment. The TC will monitor the patient recall system and communicate with referring offices, as needed.
Qualifications:
Must be a Licensed Dental Assistant Dental X-ray certified and digital X-ray experience Should feel comfortable with technological advancements i.e. digital photographs, digital impressions, use of a computer and dental software Dental experience preferred, orthodontics is a plus! Must have excellent communication skills Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Creating a positive atmosphere for patients, parents, and team members Seeing patients clinically for orthodontic appointments Discuss treatment options and prepare financial arrangements with patients/parents (will work with our financial coordinator) Monitor patient's progress to ensure completion of treatment, track patient status, and report to Orthodontists Coordinate with Clinical Team Leader and Doctors to provide the opportunity for same day care to patients Schedule follow-up recall appointments for patients, as needed Part time and Full time positions available, no weekends, and a competitive benefits package.
