Part-Time (Wednesdays & Thursdays) Overview At Broad Smiles Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics, our mission is to empower children and families by delivering the highest standard of care in a safe, welcoming, and trusting environment. We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Orthodontic Assistant to work alongside Dr. Katelyn Pan. The ideal candidate doesn't just assist with procedures; they embody our core values of professional excellence, compassion, and teamwork to ensure every child leaves with a smile. How You'll Make an Impact (Responsibilities)
Deliver Compassionate Care:
Assist Dr. Pan chairside, treating every child and family with genuine warmth, empathy, and unwavering patience—especially when managing behavioral challenges or anxiety.
Drive Organization & Efficiency:
Operate iTero scanners and utilize Open Dental while strictly adhering to our established checklists, standardized protocols, and scheduling rules to maintain optimal patient flow. Educate with
Kindness:
Guide patients and parents through oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care, explaining clinical details clearly and kindly. Own the
Day:
Travel flexibly between our Lynn, Salem, and Lynnfield locations on Wednesdays and Thursdays, jumping in to help with rooms, calls, or patients wherever needed.
Maintain Clinical Excellence:
Thoroughly prepare for each patient, ensuring rigorous sterilization of instruments and consistent application of aseptic techniques. Who You Are (Requirements)
Experienced:
You have previous experience as an Orthodontic Assistant. Familiarity with Open Dental, iTero, and general pediatric dentistry is a huge plus.
