Dental Assistant
  • Clinic Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Periodontal Dental Assistant to work at a facility in Baltimore, MD.

Duties:
Job Summary:
As Periodontal Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized care by assisting the periodontist with surgical and non-surgical procedure, maintaining sterilization protocols, and educating patients on oral health and post-operative care. You will work in a fast-paced practice w attention to detail and compassion are key.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments for periodontal procedures.
  • Assist the periodontist with surgical procedures such as scaling and root planning, crown lengthening, dental implant placement and tissue grafting.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and charting of patient records.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
  • Monitor inventory and maintain adequate stock of instruments and supplies.
  • Ensure proper infection control protocols and OSHA compliance are met
  • Support front office staff with scheduling and patient communication as needed.
  • Foster a collaborative and professional clinical environment.

  • Must have a minimum of one (1) year of dental assistant experience in periodontal.
