In this vital role, you will assist dentists during procedures, manage patient records, and ensure the clinic operates smoothly and efficiently. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to positive patient experiences and the overall success of our practice. This paid position offers opportunities for professional growth in a fast-paced, friendly setting dedicated to promoting oral health. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly in accordance with infection control protocols. Assist dentists during various procedures such as cleanings, restorations, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry cases by providing chairside support. Take dental X-rays using advanced imaging technology like 3D scanners while maintaining proper radiation safety standards. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions to promote ongoing dental health. Qualifications Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with familiarity in general dentistry procedures. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, aseptic techniques. Skilled in chairside assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry and handling dental instruments efficiently. Ability to operate X-ray machines safely while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
Pay:
$25.00 - $29.00 per hour
