The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting during various procedures. This position requires understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in an organized and clean environment. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Maintain infection control protocols by following aseptic techniques and adhering to safety regulations. Perform basic dental procedures such as taking X-rays, applying sealants, and assisting with prosthodontics. Manage medical documentation accurately, including patient records and treatment plans. Provide support in pediatric dentistry by creating a welcoming environment for young patients and assisting with their specific needs. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Collaborate with the dental receptionist to schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently. Maintain all areas in the office clean and ready. Experience Candidates should possess experience or knowledge in the following areas: Infection control practices relevant to dental settings. Prosthodontics procedures and terminology. Strong understanding of anatomy as it relates to dental health. Proficiency in taking X-rays safely and effectively. Aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during procedures. Experience as a dental receptionist is a plus but not required.
