Chevy Chase Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry has a great opportunity for an experienced Dental Assistant. We are looking for a someone that is willing to learn all about digital dentistry workflows, a candidate with exceptional references, strong values, work ethic and team player. This is a Full-time position, M-F Responsibilities for Dental Assistant include: Sterilizes and disinfects instruments and equipment. Prepares treatment rooms, instruments and tray setups for dental procedures. Exposes dental diagnostic x-rays. Assists the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures. Records medical and dental histories and vital signs of patient. Records treatment information in patient records. Intraoral scanning Digital dentistry workflow Basic Lab procedures Dental supply management Assists with other duties as needed Requirements for the Dental Assistant include : Can do attitude Adaptability Punctual Able to multi-task Willing to learn new digital workflows and lab assignments Infection control and HIPAA guidelines Active Maryland Dental Radiation Technologist License Required education: High school or equivalent Dental Radiation license in Maryland Dental assistant training CPR Required work experience: dental: >1 year Required language:
