Dental Assistant/PT to FT

Job Summary Tiny Trips Pediatric Dentistry is a brand-new, growing pediatric dental practice in the heart of Frederick, and we are looking for a warm, energetic, and organized Dental Assistant (X-ray certified) to join our team. This part-time to full-time opportunity is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to be part of building something special from the ground up. In this role, you will work chairside assisting the doctor during pediatric procedures, take dental radiographs in accordance with safety standards, and help create a calm, fun, and positive experience for our young patients and their families. You will also be responsible for preparing and breaking down treatment rooms, maintaining strict sterilization and infection control protocols, supporting patient flow, assisting with charting, starting treatment notes, and providing guidance to patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-operative care. The ideal candidate must have an active X-ray certification, strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced, startup environment. Pediatric experience is a plus, but most important is a genuine love for working with children and a team-oriented mindset. Our schedule currently includes Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with the opportunity to add additional days as the practice grows. We will be expanding to Tuesdays in June, and by August, the office will be open Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
