Dental Assistant for Accelerated Hygiene Tuesdays Only

Overview We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Dental Assistant to support our Accelerated Assisted Hygiene Program. This position works directly with our dental hygienist to help maintain an efficient patient flow while providing an exceptional patient experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys staying busy, multitasking, and being an essential part of a collaborative team. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to anticipate the needs of both the hygienist and doctor throughout the day.

What You'll Do:

Prepare hygiene operatories before the start of the day Escort patients to treatment rooms and help them feel comfortable Review and update medical histories Discuss and document patient concerns and chief complaints Take high-quality digital radiographs and scans as needed Assist Dr. Chan during hygiene exams Communicate patient findings and treatment recommendations to the front desk team Turn over and disinfect treatment rooms efficiently between patients Maintain sterilization and infection control standards Monitor and restock hygiene supplies throughout the day Help keep the hygiene schedule running smoothly and on time

Qualifications:

Maryland Dental Radiation Certification (Required) Minimum 1-2 years of dental assisting experience Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment Excellent communication and patient care skills Positive attitude and team-first mentality Experience with Dentrix and iTero scanning is a plus Who Will Thrive in This Role?
