We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in general dentistry and a strong understanding of dental procedures and patient care. This role is essential in ensuring that our patients receive high-quality care in a welcoming environment. Duties
  • Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
  • Record patient medical history, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately in medical documentation.
  • Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
  • Manage appointment scheduling using Dentrix or similar dental software to optimize patient flow.
  • Prepare treatment rooms by cleaning and sterilizing instruments, as well as setting up for procedures.
  • Utilize 3D scanners for imaging when necessary, assisting in the creation of dental models.
  • Support pediatric patients by creating a friendly atmosphere that alleviates anxiety during visits. Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Dental Assistant
  • Proficiency with Eaglesoft is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and the use of 3D scanners is a plus.
  • Knowledge of medical documentation processes and maintaining accurate medical records.
  • Understanding of vital signs monitoring and basic health assessments.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Certification in Dental Assisting or relevant qualifications is preferred but not mandatory.
