Dental Assistant

We are a brand-new, modern dental office in Laurel, MD looking for a friendly, organized, and motivated dental assistant to join our team. Applicants must present with the ability to multi-task, possess an eagerness to learn, and the enthusiasm and patience to work with children. We are seeking a dependable and detailed oriented Dental Assistant who is x-ray certified. Responsibilities As our Dental Assistant, you are responsible for assisting our doctors with a wide variety of tasks to ensure a smooth appointment for each patient You assist with treatments from cleanings to fillings and everything in between Providing excellent customer service to all patients and visitors Sterilization of instruments and equipment Taking X-rays Entering patient treatment plans Case presentation and insurance benefit education Providing assistance to the office and Dentist with daily operations as needed

Qualifications:

Dental assistant certification Maryland X-ray certification Some experience required Able to multi-task Be team-oriented The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of dental procedures, adequate chairside assisting skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment Knowledge of dental materials, instruments, and procedures Pediatric experience preferred, but not required Spanish-speaking is a plus!
