  • $26 an hour 21 hours ago Benefits Dental insurance Paid time off Employee discount Qualifications Chairside assisting Dental assisting Electronic health records (EHR) management Infection control High school diploma or GED X-Ray Certification Dental x-ray Certified Dental Assistant Full Job Description We are looking for a certified Dental Assistant Hours would be 10am-5pm Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday and 9-2 and TWO saturdays a month.
Duties:
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for dental procedures
  • Take and develop dental x-rays
  • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
  • Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history
  • Assist with dental charting and documentation in electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Epic
  • Perform basic dental laboratory procedures, including pouring and trimming models
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited dental assistant program
  • X-ray certification required
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Epic
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Please note that experience with CAD/CAM technology, medical coding, pediatrics, or medical documentation is a plus but not required.
