The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with safety protocols. Take dental X-rays and ensure proper handling of radiographic equipment. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans. Monitor and record vital signs as needed during patient visits. Provide support in various dental specialties such as Endodontics and Pediatric Dentistry. Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties when necessary, including acting as a dental receptionist. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience. Skills Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Familiarity with dental systems and software, including Epic for managing medical records. Strong organizational skills to maintain an orderly clinic environment. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is a plus, enhancing our ability to cater to younger patients.
