Job Description

Orthodontic Dental Assistant Shlash Orthodontics is a progressive orthodontic office that is fast-paced and focused on creating an exceptional patient experience. We are growing and are looking for an experienced orthodontic assistant to join our team while working in a fun team atmosp! Your job will be to work with existing and new patients with various chair side assisting procedures such as wire changes, records, Invisalign attachment and button placement, and bondings. Typical hours are 30 hours per week, which are composed of (8:30am-5pm) Monday-ThursdayJob Benefits of Working with

Orthodontic Assistant Job Duties Include:
Connect with patients to create a 5-star patient experienceEducate patients on orthodontic home care and what to expect with orthodontic treatment start/emergenciesPlace and remove orthodontic appliances (Fixed brackets, GC Experience, and Invisalign)Take orthodontic records (Photos, Pan, Ceph) and accurately upload them into TOPS softwareEnsure accurate patient notesSend and track accurate labwork Rx notesPerform iTero scans (ensuring accurate lab/lab Rx completion) and take alginate impressions, pour and trim for removalsStock and organize chairsClean and sterilize equipment following OSHA and Infection Control standardsEnsure arrival of all appliances from labs (week before and day before)Assist in marketing and with community outreach/eventsEncourage practice growth by encouraging patient social media postsOrganize and order supplies Requirements for the
