Key Responsibilities:

Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a clean and safe environment Assist dentists during various dental procedures, including exams, fillings, and cleanings Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed Manage patient records and update dental histories accurately Provide patients with post-treatment instructions and answer their questions Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order materials as necessary Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and infection control protocols Join our team and become part of a supportive, patient-focused practice committed to excellence and continuous growth. Requirements:

The successful applicant should have: High school diploma or equivalent; dental assisting certification preferred Proven experience as a dental assistant or in a similar role Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Basic computer skills and familiarity with dental practice management software Certification in CPR For the full job description or additional information, please contact Kelly at (207) 498-1311 or klandeen@carymed.org .
