Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor, Dental Hygiene Program Position Type Faculty Faculty Track Clinical Employment Status Full Time Months 9 Campus Portland, ME Description The University of New England's Dental Hygiene Program invites applications for a full-time, 9-month clinical faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor. We seek an experienced and dynamic educator with demonstrated excellence in teaching and clinical practice. The successful candidate will contribute to the program through teaching and service while supporting the continued growth and excellence of the Dental Hygiene Program. The program is located across two campuses in Portland and Biddeford, Maine. Responsibilities Plan, develop, and teach courses across the undergraduate Dental Hygiene curriculum. Develop and implement student learning assessments. Participate in program, college, and university service activities. Supervise faculty and students in the Dental Hygiene clinical setting. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Master's degree or higher in Dental Hygiene, Dentistry, or a related field. Eligible for Dental Hygiene or Dental licensure in the State of Maine. Holds, or is eligible to obtain, a permit or license to administer local anesthesia in the State of Maine. Minimum of three years of clinical practice experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
