Job Description

We are a well-established, family-owned dental practice seeking a part time Dental Assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone who is kind, dependable, self-motivated, and committed to providing high-quality patient care. Our office prioritizes excellent treatment and patient experience above all else. The ideal candidate works efficiently in a team environment, communicates clearly and respectfully, and is willing to remain flexible in a fast-paced setting. We are especially looking for someone who has front desk experience or is willing to be trained in reception duties as part of a cross-trained approach. This role includes assisting with front office responsibilities as needed such as, answering phones, scheduling appointments, taking messages, verifying information, checking patients in and out, and verifying insurance. Dental experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. This role is best suited for candidates seeking long-term employment rather than temporary work. Responsibilities include (but not limited to): Taking dental radiographs (x-rays) Maintaining infection control protocols Preparing, sterilizing, and organizing instruments Setting up and breaking down operatories Assisting with dental procedures (fillings, crowns, and preventive care) Updating and maintaining accurate patient records Stocking and organizing treatment rooms Communicating clearly and professionally with patients and team members Supporting overall office workflow and adapting to daily needs
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Reliable transportation Ability to pass a background check Strong communication and teamwork skills Resume with references required

Part-time:
3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
Hours:
Monday & Wednesday :
9:00 AM - 5:00
PM, Friday :
9:00 AM - 1:00 PM Competitive hourly wage starting at $16/hour, based on experience
